In our travel experience, we have found that the best bang-for-your-buck travel workout is simple, fun and effective. All requirements we noted at the start of this article. And it typically shouldn’t take you more than 30 minutes! So which workout do we recommend for your vacation? Why, it’s yoga! A fun, full-body workout that doesn’t require machines or many extra gadgets to get you looking and feeling your best. And bonus, A LOT of resorts like Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe and Meadowood Napa Valley offer free yoga classes. Just be sure to pack a super-cool yoga mat! We found a great, washable style from amazon for under $40! And it is made to be packed! It even comes with its own flat, zippered pouch so that you can easily tuck it into a suitcase or backpack. Obviously, we’ve used it and LOVE it!
