A Cheap, Affordable and Easy-to-Pack Beauty Hack
Not sure about you, but we are SO obsessed with sheet masks right now! They are face-shaped fiber cloths moistened with a skin-boosting serum like a retinol or vitamin formula! Typically, you apply them to your face and wait 10-15 minutes. You peel off the mask and voila! It’s amazing! The beautifying results of these masks make them a great choice for anytime use, but we found that their easy-to-pack nature, skin benefits and affordability make them an ideal beauty product to pack for vacation.
Once packed, the benefits of these masks are 3-fold. For example if you only plan to bring a carry-on, you might find that it’s hard to fit all of the 3 oz liquid bottles/jars/canisters you need into a quart-sized bag. So packing a serum is probably one of the last items on your list. With this beauty hack, you can easily slip a mask or two in the side of the bag with room to spare.
Another benefit of these sheet masks is their usefulness. We highly recommend packing at least one hydrating mask like the Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses we have featured below because your skin will likely be dehydrated after a lengthy flight and you will need to replenish. Bonus, 1000 Roses smells DELIGHTFUL!
Lastly, travel is all about the experience, so to elevate your in-room experience, we recommend treating your mask like a facial. Slip into a robe, turn on some relaxing spa music and replenish your body, mind and soul. Then take off the mask and go right to sleep. And when you wake up in the morning take a moment to breath deeply and smile. That’s what a vacation is all about.
