San Diego: A Foodie’s Paradise
When looking for things to do in San Diego, you should seriously consider the food. San Diego offers its visitors a plethora of unique dining experiences at gourmet restaurants, ocean-side eateries and famously fresh seafood haunts. It is a gourmand’s true paradise. You could make a whole vacation all about eating your way through this West Coast town’s food scene. Thrillist even created a fantastic bucket list of foods you should experience in San Diego before you die. Warning: after seeing this list you will immediately book a trip to San Diego. Can’t say I’d blame you. I’m partial to #19 – the Samoa-inspired Cococarma from Slater’s 50/50.
Why We Love Extraordinary Desserts
But I digress. Let’s get back to the task at hand; explaining our deep and passionate love for the San Diego-based gourmet dessertery, Extraordinary Desserts. One of the best things to do in San Diego, it is an absolute gem! Developed by renowned author and pastry chef Karen Krasne, Extraordinary Desserts features countless gourmet desserts prepared and decorated to perfection. Most of their desserts are served featuring a delicately placed piece of gold leaf, making the treats at Extraordinary Desserts a form of edible art. It should also be noted that along with their artistic value, the desserts are incredibly DELICIOUS!
With options that change constantly, and new confections brought out regularly, Extraordinary Desserts lives up to it name. It truly is extraordinary.
