This unique and historic city nestled on the River Thames, hosts a vibe that is of renaissance life blended with burgeoning technologies. It is a melting pot of nationalities and beautiful languages. In a nutshell, London cannot be definitively defined. And, with so much history and culture to offer visitors and residents alike, London is a must-see for all world travelers.
With the weather in mind, it should be easy to plan a wardrobe for London. Dependent on what you plan to do during your visit (enjoying a play at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, visiting a pub for a pint and some fish and chips or taking tea at The Savoy), packing should be simple.
What to Do in London in the Summer
While visiting London in the summer, attend an outdoor Farmer’s Market like The Notting Hill Farmer’s Market or the Marylebone Farmer’s Market and peruse local offerings including items like local cheese and fresh baked bread and cakes (check on the list of vendors that will be at the Farmer’s Market you choose to attend as they are ever-changing). Average high temperatures for London in the summer can be found in the low-70s, but have been known to crest into the low-90s.
