What to Do in San Francisco in the Winter
When visiting San Francisco in the winter, consider checking out one of San Francisco’s excellently curated museums like the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art or the Legion of Honor. Be sure to book a tour of Alcatraz Island, home to a non-working prison that once housed the infamous Al Capone; and take a drive across The Golden Gate Bridge. Then detour over to the Marin Headlands where you’ll enjoy a scenic drive by beaches and hiking trails (you can stop along the way or just enjoy the view from your car). San Francisco also has a top-notch culinary scene. Check out restaurants like State Bird Provisions or Lazy Bear.
