What to Do in Seattle in the Spring
While visiting Seattle in the spring, make time to visit the 534-acre Discovery Park and enjoy the springtime weather as you walk along beaches and nature trails. Then be sure to make a dinner reservation for sushi at NISHINO or Sushi Kashiba. Also take a day and head over to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and peruse beautiful rainbow-colored tulip fields. You can usually see blooms throughout the month of April (be sure to check on this before you go) and the tulip fields are located about an hour outside of Seattle. If you are visiting on a weekend, try to arrive early for the best unspoiled photo-ops. You may also wish to take a day and jaunt over to Bainbridge Island. Grab fish and chips from Proper Fish then spend some time wine tasting.
